The Lender Services Division was created in February
2001 to address what we saw as an underserved segment of professionals,
loan officers, banks and businesses. Our main focus is to bring
the highest quality service to these individuals, while making
it "easy to do business with LandAmerica American Title Company".

Single Point Of Contact For Ordering Title Commitments
We process all new title commitment orders from one
center. By doing this, we can place the file at a location most
convenient to the consumer or client, and we notify all parties
where the closing will be held. It also results in a faster turn
time on the commitment, as we have a dedicated full time individual
who opens the order immediately, no matter if it is the end of
the month, or beginning. And, if you, the lender, have a preferred
branch, just let us know!
Full Time Sales Professionals At Your Service
Each member of our sales staff has a background in
mortgage lending, providing you with the experience and expertise
necessary to understand your business and help build your success.
Out Of Area Referral Service
If you are originating loans outside
of the 4-county metro area, we can refer you to an agent of Lawyers
Title Insurance Corporation, who can handle the transaction for
you.
Title Policy Credits
1. 40% of the premium for the amount of the unpaid
balance of any original indebtedness renewed within 2 years from
the date of the original indebtedness.
2. 35% - More than 2 but less than 3 years.
3. 30% - More than 3 but less than 4 years.
4. 25% - More than 4 but less than 5 years.
5. 20% - More than 5 but less than 6 years.
6. 15% - More than 6 but less than 7 years.
After the lapse of 7 years, the basic
rate shall apply.
72-hour turnaround time on the title commitments (with prior policy).
96-hours (4-days) without.
